Mi è capitato di avere un pc in cui gli aggiornamenti di McAfee non funzionavano.

L'errore che appariva era il seguente:



"Impossibile inizializzare il sottosistema Copmmon Updater. Assicurarsi che il McAfee Framework Service sia in esecuzione.
L'infrastruttura comune di McAfee ha restituito l'errore 80040154 @ 1 "

Per risolvere questo problema ci sono 3 opzioni

1. Si può provare a riavviare il servizio "McAfee Framework Service"

2. Click the Windows "Start" menu, click "Programs" > "McAfee" > "VirusScan Console
Right-click "Access Protection," choose "Properties" from the drop-down menu and choose "Common Standard Protection."Disable the "Prevent modification of McAfee files and settings" option and confirm by clicking "OK."
Launch Windows Explorer, and delete the "FrameworkManifest.xml" file, located under the following directory:

For Windows Vista:
[Primary Drive]:\Program Data\McAfee\Common Framework

For Windows XP:
[Primary Drive]:\ Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\McAfee\Common Framework
or
[Primary Drive]:\ Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Network Associates\Common Framework

3.Reinstallare l'antivirus McAfee
