SCCM 2012 – SQL Usa tutta la memoria

Nel caso di un server SCCM 2012 con SQL integrato è da tenere presente che 16 Gb se non 32 Gb. Sono la dimensione consigliata.

Tenendo però presente che SQL di default è settato per sfruttare il maggior quantitativo di memoria. Per cambiare il seggaggio bisogna:

1. Aprire SQL Management studio.
2. Tasto destro del mouse  connect al nome del server.
3. Proprietà  Memoria
4. Settare “Maximum Server Memory” ad un valore che è soddisfatto dal proprio ambiente.

4Gb is not nearly enough RAM for an SCCM server that's also running SQL unless you have a tiny environment and even then I'd personally want more. I always recommend at least 16Gb of RAM and prefer to have 32GB in my priamry site servers when running SQL locally. Having said that SQL by default is set to consume all the RAM in a box, you need to reduce that setting. Open SQL Management studio, connect, right click the servername, properties, go to memory and set maximum server memory to something that fits your environment.
