Server - How to restore Veeam backups without reinstall it

It could happen that, during a big server fault, you'll need to restore VM backup created with Veeam Backup 7.


For this purpose you need:

1. Locate C:\Program Files\Veeam\Backup and relative files:

    Veeam.Backup.Extractor.exe
    Extract.exe
    Extract (Linux environment )



2. You'll need to launch Veeam.Backup.Extractor.exe, locate .Vbk files

3. You'll need to decide where restore VM (Vmware storage or any other storage)

4. After that you can copy files to relative vmware host and restart it.
